Dark Blue and gold are traditional colors of the U.S. Navy. The prow represents Zumwalt-class destroyers, USVs, and surface warfare ships of the future. The prow powers through a wavy field underscoring the motto “SEAPOWER THROUGH INNOVATION” The field is counterchanged to denote calculated risks. Four stars honor Admiral Elmo R. Zumwalt and his legacy of warfighting innovation.
